User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsfood is great and the prices are unbeatable. the blueberry pancakes are HUGE and delcious...i have yet to find a better pancake. ditto for the variety of the coffeecake...and you can't leave until you've had a milkshake. the atmosphere is no fuss; a place to truly experience what madison is all about! WORTH THE WEEKEND LINES!

Can be a good dinning experience, but not always. On my last vist to Mickies the waitress first said I could order anything I wanted off the special menu, then she came back and told me that the kitchen will only do that for "regular" patrons. Then when I wanted to order off the breakfast special board (it was 10:00AM in the morning) she said she would have to check with the kitchen again. The patrons next to me couldn't believe it, nor could I! Now I would like to add that the food is pretty good and the service is normally great, but I think it is also fair to point out that they might be too busy at times; especially on Friday mornings. I would like to give Mickies a thumbs up, but I can't recommend eating at Mickies when they have more than just a few patrons already seated.

Mickies is great food & value: Not a combination seen around town these days (great food and value) - Mickeis offers both. The milkshakes are HUGE!
Service can be slow during busy times, but what can you do. Definately a gem of Madison.
