Great pizza. A very friendly staff as well, Jim is the best small town ber tender, he knows everyone and is always in a good mood. The place was re-modeled a couple years ago. I liked the old way better but this is still a nice place.

Where the Locals Go For Pizza!: I'm so delighted to find Opera House listed on Yahoo! We get pizza from Opera House frequently, usually as takeout, but when you sit down in the dining room, the service is fast and friendly and the food is great.

Opera House's home made pizza is about the best around, oozing with cheese and sauce (be sure to ask for extra!) and as wide a selection of toppings as any Pizza Hut, and their burgers and appetizers (especially the deep fried mushrooms, oh so baaaddd and delicious!) are really excellent.

The bar itself is bright and open with new knotty pine on the walls and a big TV over the bar, and you can get into friendly discussions with the regulars about what's going on. Of course, being in Wisconsin, the Packers rule at the Opera House - just try to get in the door on a Packer Sunday.

If you're looking for urban/foofy, or if you like fish eggs and rose petals on your pizza, forget it - you won't find it here. If you're coming from out of town and would like to experience the real local experience, this is the place to go. Right on the little main street of New Lisbon, there's all sorts of street parking, and you can choose the bar or the dining room.

Come on in and hop on a bar stool - you'll like it.
