The place is a dump and very dirty inside. I don't think they ever clean. Ordered a carryout dish and a bug crawled out of it. I took it back along with the bug and they claimed that it did not come out of the food. Argued with me for over 10 minutes then decided to give me my money back after I had to demand a refund. Another person was there at the same time and was given the wrong food. Did not want to correct their order either! What a joke! Don't even waste your time going there.

Very liberal servings and the food is good. The crab rangoons are lacking in their filling though. The place is a DIVE. The good news though I have to say is very good and the servings are great for their prices. The lunch is worth it. You get a large serving, plus an egg roll and soup for under $6. They should use the paper carryout boxes. Their large syrofoam ones leak all over for to go orders. Unfortunately smoking is still allowed in here. If you see something on the dinner menu they don't list on the lunch menu, ask them for the dinner menu item, in a lunch sized portion. The only real chinese place in this town.

My favorite restaurant!: My husband and I love to eat at Cathay Garden. The servings are huge and the food is excellent....it is such a great value. If you're looking for incredible, affordable food, Cathay Garden is the place to go.
