User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAte at the new Monks near the Wilderness Resort this past week (Late Aug 2009). Excellent (fast) service, menu, and atmosphere. Family friendly and the food was good. Wife and I both had burgers, they were very good. Not sure they qualified as the "world's greatest" as the menu said but they were pretty good! Daughter's kids meal was very good. The fired chips were good. The beer selection was very good. Lots of televisions scattered around the restaurant for sports action.

Amazing place, and way better than the hotel restaurant when you're looking for a simple "burger, fries, and a coke" lunch or a hangover cure. It's definitely a must for anyone traveling to or passing through Wisconsin Dells. Their "thing" is serving most of their food on wax paper instead of plates. Now, about their food. The burgers are amazing: the bread is soft, and the meat is juicy. You can choose from a selection of twelve. The fries are one the best I've ever eaten. They're cooked in beer batter, and taste similar to Arby's curly fries. The waitstaff is down to earth and friendly, and will make a conversation with you. My only gripe is that you get charged extra to add vegetables to your burger, but their prices are very reasonable overall.

Buffalo Wings were cold burgeres were nasty and you didn't give my son a frizbe. You are all jerks Im never going to eat there again. Go suck a bonnana Monk's
