Gotta have some pie: The Cecil Diner is a regular stop for us when we travel "Up North". This is the quintessential Northern (sort of - it's far south of Hwy 8) Wisconsin diner. The food is good, simple 'Merican fare, at a good price served by hard workin' waitresses. I've never had a bad meal there - walleye or perch fry, potato pancakes, eggs & sausage breakfast - it's all delicious. Naturally, there's a bottomless cup of coffee and the waitresses make sure it's always filled. If that's not enough, what keeps us coming back is the pie. There are usually several kinds of pie available. If you don't have room for dessert, get some to go. You'll thank me later. Ambiance? This is a wonderful American Diner - it has all that charm that you could want. Don't look for candle light and violins here!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Place ever: You need to try this place out it. The food is made good and fast. The waitress are as friendly as can be. You never run of of somthing to drink. You will have fun while eating. Bring kids they might just love the Micky Mouse Pancake.
