Diggers is owned by two young, health conscious, fantastic people whom happened to be married! Sara and Brit took over Diggers this spring and have brought their years of experience with food along with all their passion to the table; serving quality, delicious fresh food. Both owners have major integrity when it comes to what they will serve you. Sara makes all the deserts from scratch, she is fantastic baker. Having sold her wedding cake shop in Milwaukee to return to our beloved Door County, she will still consult for your wedding cake, if she has time.

Brit is a chef by trade but also by passion when it comes to local food and supporting our community farmers. They both bring fresh ideas to the table when most of the places up here serve your food right out of a box. Diggers is still a place to go and get a good, fast meal. The difference is now, the food is much healthier and they don't use MSG!

You will find a great pizza there and, disappointed you won't be...
Tell Brit and Sarah what you like, they are open to suggestions...

The employees are all really nice and although it can be REALLY busy at times...one of the owners is always there to make sure you are happy.

The turkey burger is my favourite and it's really delicious! Rumor has it that soon they may introduce a sour dough pizza crust....shhhh...if you like that sort of thing, don't hesitate to ask when that will be!

    Enjoy Diggers, we do!
Oh yes, they are open late too!!!

Sara, Isn't in bad taste to review your own restaurant? The experience, food and service will determine what people think. I just hope it is better than the service and attitude you gave me. Stay away or you will be disapointed.

May I ask who you are? My name is not Sara. I do not own the restaurant. Stay away from who? What? Please elaborate. I don't check my Yahoo mail often but I would appreciate it if you would please identify your self. And by the way, the new name of the restaurant you are speaking of is The Wild Tomato and the food in my opinion is quite excellent. To those of you whom care about it. Decide for your self, I did. What poor taste this poster has! Thank you.

    Not just a pizza shop!

We went there with our dog for pizza but found ourselves intrigued with the menu.
I had a Cowboy burger a very flavorful and juicy BBQ bacon cheese burger with curly fries. Healthy? My wife had a turkey burger with a side of squash. More healthy.
This was our first time of public dinning with our dog. It went very well. We sat outside. We ordered our dog some chicken nuggets. We were offered a bowl of water by a friendly young staff member. The surrounding customers were inquisitive about our dog and seemed to be enjoying their drinks and dinners. Many regulars with and endless line of call in pizza pickups.

Very nice casual place with good food and friendly small town appeal.

Pet Friendly in outdoor seating area. 10-1-2008

    What can $25 buy? GOODWILL!
I was given a $25 gift certificate for Diggers in Fish Creek, WI that was not honered by the new owners. They said they were not responsible for any gift certificates issued by the previous owners. So I paid for my below average food, below average service and will tell my family and friends about my negative experience at a business that does not recognize the importance of their clients. My guess is that Diggers will not last too long in a delightful tourist community that demands execptional client experiences. By the way, White Gull inn, Alexanders, Julies, Hide Side and Captian Tom's tours were all excellent in creating a pleasent holiday.
