User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI felt the need to comment on this review. I have been a customer of Marv's since 1999 and have always been given great service. I am now proud to call them my friends if not family. I am almost sure that I am the customer Laura is speaking about who's key's were taken by an ex employee of theirs last July. It is ironic that this is when we started becoming friends. Back in july 2007 my car blew a headgasket I had virtually two choices sell my car or fix it. At first I thought sell it and get a new car the ex-employee had offered us 300.00 dollars which at the time of bad news did not sound so bad. We went home to think about it after some very good advice we elected to have my car fixed which saved me a monthy car payment bill and higher insurance this so far has been the right choice. After the drama of getting my keys back I started visiting Laura and Marv twice a week just to keep up with things. Now and this is a bit selfish I go to see their 6 month old baby and when I get lucky to have a conversation with their oldest son which is always a treat they are great kids. While I am there I have not heard Laura or Marv critize other shop's they have the utmost respect for them. Being a mechanic and owning a shop takes dedication, long hours, hard work and time away from your children. Laura and Marv have such dedication to their customers. I happen to tease Laura about this because everytime she speaks of a customer she states this is one of our best customers. She thinks this of all their customers even if it is their first time being there they want to take care of everyone. I hope the person who wrote the slander review has a hard time sleeping becasue his conscious should be keeping him a wake so shame on you for trying to sabotage good people. In closing if you are looking to be treated with respect and have your car worked on by people who care this is the place for you. Laura takes the time to explain what is wrong with your car and why, while your car is in excellant hands with Marv, Steve and the rest of the gang
