Chip's Hamburgers

I was born and raised in Wausau and we had two chips in town. I moved out to the Arizona and Nevada area, and got used to Carls JRs and In and Out burgers. I never forgot how good those Chips Burgers where, so when i moved back to Wisconsin I beelined it to Chips in Merrill and go when ever i'm in merrill.

I like chips it's good stuff..it is fast food but we try to go there everytime we pass thru merrill and that's alot of times..good cheese curds..

Chip's is Excellent!: Chip's is definitely a great casual dining experience. I mean, sure, it's fast food; but this is the real deal! It takes barely any time for them to cook it, but you know it wasn't sitting out for forever because you can actually see back in the cooking area; it isn't made until you order it. While you're waiting, you can chat with the friendly staff, or find out how hot you are.
The only complaint I have would be that there are some rather unfriendly patrons...And like to menace others. But I have been there many a time; the food's good and cheap.

I recommend the cheese curds, shakes and the Champ. Although it's pretty much all good.
