User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis place has really went down hill !!!!! we went out to eat on Friday for the fish fry and we got the Italian cheese Fry's to start. I should have known that something was wrong, when the sauce was unflavored and runny. This used to be one of our family's favorite places to eat but clearly not any more !! there were flies all over the place, the table was sticky, and the waitress was the worst one I have ever had. For a Friday night it was empty and that was never the case. Maybe the management needs to reconsider who cooks for them and clean house a little bit. Get this place back to the way everyone loved it !!!!!!!!

This restaurant has changed management a few months ago. The food certainly reflects that change and not in a good way. I have been addicted to Springville's cheese italian fries since I was a kid, which believe me was a while ago. But the new management has switched from the food that was previously served to a much cheaper and much much much less tastey version.
I went there a couple of months after the new management took over because I just had to have my fix of cheese italian fries. I should have known something was wrong because when I pulled into the parking lot it was almost empty and it was suppertime on a saturday night!! My cheese fries were HORRIBLE!! The dipping sauce tasted like the tin can it must have come out of and the super cheap cheese subsitute was an insult to my wisconsin sensibilities. For a saturday night at suppertime there was NO ONE in there eating, only people sitting at the bar. Which is probably for the best since I would guess that most of the rest of the food there went just as downhill as the italian fries.
I will sorely miss my Springville Wharf Cheese Italian Fries. If I could give this place less than one star I would.

Try Arbuckles Eatery in Point. It is owned by the same person who owned the Wharf, when they divorced, she kept the Wharf & he got Arbuckles. I think she passed away which is why it has new owners. Haven't been there in '08 but I'll try it again just to be sure it's not the same.
