User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is the place to go if you want to have a nice romantic meal. By nice, I mean well worth the price you're going to pay. I cringe whenever I see the words 'market price' on a menu, but the wife just had to have the surf n' turf. It was about thirty-five bucks, but she said it was really good. That's all I ask for; if you want to charge me alot for food, then make it good! I can get mediocrity for very little money elsewhere. Michele's even pushes the envelope--goat cheese bruschetta in Stevens Point? That's crazy talk! But it's also crazy good!
I've talked with the chef a few times and he seems very confident in his abilities. This is a good trait to have, especially when you can back it up with slammin' chow.
The bar...well stocked. The bartenders...knowledgable and engaging. The drink selection...extensive and up to date.
The actual building leaves something to be desired. OK, so it leaves a lot to be desired. This is why I'm taking a star off. Excellent food makes high prices easy to swallow, but a nice setting really makes a meal of this caliber special.
I don't feel that I need to write much more. This restarant has a good reputation that is well deserved. Yay food!
