Save Room for the Pie: Oh, the pie, the wonderful pie, save room for the pie if you're going to treat yourself to Hixton Cafe you can't beat the lemon! The food is awesome, the price is awesome, Amy (the waitress) is as sweet as the pie! :) Be sure to include a cup of soup with your order, it tastier than any soup I've had. Can't make it at home that good! Two people can have an appetizer, soda, meal, and a piece of pie for around $20. If you like the old fashioned feel this is the place to go, the farmers talking about the weather, the seniors chatting over their coffee, it just gives you that warm feeling inside.

Hixton Cafe: This is a very basic, old fashioned eatery. Good wait staff and friendly people. Has an antique look that fits with all the antique stores around it. Nothing fancy about the food but the food is good. They have daily specials, sandwiches and burgers. If you like a change of pace this may be for you. This is a typical small town place. Old fashioned just like the area it is in.
