my experience was not as sweet wanted a large screen,latest technology,gamer's setup.tv vs projector/screen discussed.changed setup the morning of scheduled installation to less expensive options both as good or better no problem left undone and not responsive for 6 months a final payment did not result in HD or a gamer's setup.TOTAL COST $8880 INCLUDING A LAMP FOR $500 THAT LASTED 5 MONTHS a tv would have been less expensive and best buy would at least have sent a geek before 6 months
I am sorry, I am probably putting my nose in where it doesn't belong but I had to say something. Your claims are absolutely absurd! So, you never got a quote from this company? I find it very hard to believe that they came to your house and installed something other than what you agreed to. If it was wrong why did you pay them then???? As far as "HD" goes, what do you mean by that? HD cable, satellite or Blu-ray player? A "gamers setup" what in the world does that mean? All projectors have a bulb and have a lifespan based on how much you use (watch) it. If a TV, as you say, would have been less expensive then why did you buy a projection system instead then? I think you are out of line and should think about posting such claims! By the way I had this same, very reputable & highly recommended company, you are bashing come to my home to fix a HUGE problem and incomplete job two "Geeks" left at my house after "trying" to install a projection system! Of course I had to pay the "Geeks" up front for the installation and when I complained they gave me an 1-800 number to call, even when the guy who messed up my house was standing there with the store manager. I would love to hear what the company would have to say about your claims. I will let them know you posted this and see if they will respond as there are always 2 sides to every story!
