Bodega was great. Had dinner across the street Fayze's great food. Back to Bodega Brew Pub, it was Friday night and not all the women were THAT scary. Had a great time, don't look for romance in this place, it's all about drinking. They've got everything, imported beers in coolers to the right of the bar, micro brewery for those into that, and a full service bar. If they don't have it you don't need it. The old tappers (handles) up along the windows (high up so you don't steal them) are a nice touch. Spent over an hour trying to determine what companies they were from. If you go one wrong (by a 2-1 vote of my peers there were 3 of us) you had to buy the next round. One guy still didn't know how we got home that night. Oh and I think he was driving ???
have fun, we did and we'll be back.
This popular beer snob imbibery's best feature is a secret not well known, even to its many longtime patrons: the secret game room. Say the password (which changes every 3 months and is only given to special friends of the owner) and the bartender, if nobody is watching, will let you into their dazzling basement game room. Descend the dark, creaky basement stairs, walk through a dim, dank tunnel and you'll find yourself facing a large medeival door; grab the heavy iron knocker and slap out the secret knock, and the door croaks open to an awe inspiring gaming xanandu. Aged mahogany adorns the stone walls of a chain of subterrannean rooms, where you'll find dozens of games: mammoth orange snooker tables; mini cribbage and backgammon arenas; large green felt poker tables; not to mention foosball, ping-pong, darts, pellet gun shooting gallery, shuffleboard, air hockey, classic arcade games, and my favorite, a huge slot car racing track. Scattered throughout the game room are bronze beer spigots, where a twist of an ivory knob refills your mug with a variety of old and new world specialty beers. The password is a closely guarded secret, and employees are sternly warned to deny the existence of the game room unless the password is spoken. So if you see the owner, introduce yourself, make nice, and hope he deems you worthy of a password to the best game room you've ever seen.
March password was "Tinkerbell". Didn't work in May. The gameroom absolutely rocks!!! Spinning 69 on the Wheel of Beer earns you the password. Psychologist couches and personal butler are freaking AWESOME!!! Played Donkey Kong until my wrists gave out. DO NOT GET CAUGHT GIVING OUT THE PASSWORD!!! You'll be banned for life!!! Best Bar in La Crosse. NOW SMOKE FREE!!!

I recently visited LaCrosse for a conference. Thanks so MUCH!!! The game room was truly amazing!! I wouldn't have had a clue about the password.
