User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe KImball Inn is by far the best restaraunt in the area. The staff there is always friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Very clean etc. There are always many mouthwatering specials to chose from along with their regular menu. My favorite is the seafood stuffed mastoccoli. Also, love their homeade soups. I would recommend this restaraunt to anyone with tastebuds. Always first on my list for special occasions.

This is the best restaurant within 100 miles of the Ironwood, Michigan area.

this is far and away one of the best places to eat in the U.P. (and compares well to most restaurants you're going to find in the Midwest). The majority of the offerings are items that you would expect to find at a fine dining restaurant in a metro area. food is priced right given the location and drinks are cheap. the owner/bartendar usually acts a bit grumpy, but it's all just for show. he's really a nice guy. i believe his son is the chef and was trained and worked in chicago.
we have a group of 20-30 people that goes to the area each new year to ski and each year we make that we spend an evening dining at Kimball Inn - it has become snynomous with our annual trip. you will not regret trying this great place!

This great inn is in Wisconsin, not Michigan. Owner is a very nice person, friendly and courteous.
