Mr D's Restaurant & Bakery

Must try!: I use to live across the street and would eat breakfast/lunch at Mr. D's about twice a month. They claim their eggs benedict are the best... I'd disagree (mine were just warm). Whenever I go now though I get the Barbeque Chicken Sandwich thingy. It's huge, like most of their items (particularly anything on a bagel)! I end up taking half of it home and getting a second meal out of it. I also would stop by the walk up donut window numerous times after bartime. Nothing like a pre-bedtime donut to cure any future morning ills.

Walk up Window: Havn't been to the Restaurant part of this place, but the all night walk up window for donoughts is wonderful. Cheap prices=good value even if the donought type you want isn't fresh at the moment. When they are fresh, they're the best. Service is rarely difficult and the feeling of the place is always way cool -you can stand in the warmth on a cold night and watch them make the donoughts.

Walk-up window is a must: Nothing makes bar time better then knowing you can get doughnuts at 2am. Very cheap, and usually fresh, and the staff is friendly.
