On a road trip, in a strange city, an asian buffet is risky business. I was really impressed. The crab may have been a bit salty--but certainly not bland and washed out like every other buffet crab I've ever had. The general's chicken was a tad vinegary for my taste, but every dish was not only edible, but very pleasant to eat. No picking around the gross things at this buffet. Service was good (at least as good as can be expected in a restaurant where you're not sure if the waitress understands English). Very friendly. Prices were very reasonable. (We were there as a family of 7.) I really enjoyed the experience. Very good food!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe food is alright if you get there at the right time, and by that I mean if you go in between normal eating ours, you are expected to eat the left overs before they fill it with fresh food. YUCK! Service is terrible, I felt like I was an inconvienence to the waitress making her fill my beverage back up. Tomah and Black River Falls are much more on top of their game!!! I recommend them two first before this one.

I'm wondering how often you've eaten at the King Buffet, kitkat40? I eat there at least once a week and have always found the food to be fresh and delicious. The waitresses have always been friendly, even though they know very little English.
