I can give props to this place as a great Friday Fish Fry location. I went at 5pm and it was just getting busy when I left. I got the 3 peice baked cod which comes with all you can soup and salad as well as potato or fries. All for 11.50, not bad in my book. Good services and a homie atmosphere too.

For the price, possibly the best food in town.: Every time my wife and I eat at Schmidty's the experience isn't disappointing. The food is very good, the service is great, and the price is right. If you're looking for moderately priced, supper club food, I'd recommends Schmidty's every time.

I typically get the steak and have never had a problem. My wife has gotten both steak and fish as well as other dishes. We've never had any complaints.

The only downside to Schmidty's might be the atmosphere. While it is a supper club, it lacks a little ambiance. The crowd is mostly families and 50+...but those are the crowds who know a good deal. Also, if you have a problem with smoke, stay away from dining in the bar area.

That aside, try Schmidty's. You won't be disappointed.
