    I haven't lived in LaCrosse for many years, but everytime I go back I have to go to the Sweet Shop. When I was in high school(Logan) we used to run(teenagers didn't have there own cars then) down at lunch time. Stop at Maid Rite then to Sweet Shop talk about good times. After games everyone would go there for soda's, sundies,candies, they had all this penny candy, what great memories the Sweet Shop has gave me. The best ice cream was choc. marshmallow. And the love food no one could make it better.

    A fun old place with a great selection of chocolates. The molasses chips are my favorite. The mystery bin of reject/broken chocolates is also fun.

    There is NO BETTER candy anywhere on the planet. And the ice cream. YUMMY A Sweet Shop Special is a sundae that cannot be made anywhere else. The candy is hand dipped and made from better than premium ingredients. The roasted salted nuts are superb. Candy can be packed to order and shipped. The counter top is real marble. The glass cases are as old as the molds they use and the whole place screams of old time candy and ice cream parlor. This is a place to be cherished and returned to often.
