just wanted to say Elbert's is the best place for a family vacation. We stayed in the Arlington cottage. it is a 5 bedroon cottage, spiral staircase to the lower level. kitchen over looks the lake. but we sat out on the huge deck for all of our meals. couches and beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully furnished with every thing you need. There is a t.v. upstairs and downstairs incase of poor weather.unfornunatly the jacuzi is no longer uvailable. that was a bummer. but the cottage looks right out over the beach and swim area, you walk right down the stairs and the lake and beach are right there. i think this is the best cottage on the resort because you are the closest to the lake and swim area. Jim and Mary thanks for a wonderful week. we will definitly be back to stay in the Arlington.

Our family just returned from vacationing at your resort. Mary and Jim were great, but what a HUGE disappointment the Arlington was. Very "shabby" furnishings. Carpet filthy. Needs serious updating. Certainly not at all worth the money! We had a great time but would not recommend this cottage to anyone. The owners need to put a little money into their cottage.

My family and I just returned from a weeks vacation at the resort. First and foremost I must say that the resort grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The caregivers, Jim and Mary were very nice. We had a group of 15 family members and 3 cabins; The Arlington, Loghaven, and Birch. We had the Arlington which has 5 bedrooms and cost $1575.00 per week. We had 7 people in the cabin. Now you would think 5 bedrooms nice place...NOT!!! The place was a dump. Each cabin is individually owned and this owner needs to put ALOT of work into the Arlington. The 5 bedrooms are big enough to fit a double bed up against a wall and that is it!! The furnishing need to be in the dumpster as well as the 19 inch tv and all mattresses. The kitchen is big enough for ONE person and no counter space. The lower level has a terrible odor. The only thing we liked about the cabin was the deck overlooking the nice sandy beach and lake area. The Loghaven (3 bedrooms) is very nice and so is the Birch (2 bedrooms). I would recommend either of these. They are beautiful and on the lake!! We would come back but just not stay at the Arlington. I am only giving it a poor due to our Cabin!!
