I had the unfortunate luck of breaking down near Bloomer. I had this shop tow and fix my truck. I had been told by people that lived there that this guy was fairly trustrothy. He towed my vehicle, rebuilt the starter and the alternator. A few days later my truck broke down again, the rebuilt alternator went to pot. I called him and he wanted to know if I could get my truck back to his shop. Now, for those of you who don't know about cars, you can't drive it without an alternator, it simply drains the battery and you have no power. I explained to him again that his rebuilt alternator wasn't working and it was impossible to drive the truck back to his garage. He said he'd come and get it. Not only did this guy's bad work get me stranded in the dead of a Wisconsin winter, but HE CHARGED ME FOR THE SECOND TOW. IT WAS HIS FAULT THAT I HAD BEEN STRANDED, YET HE CHARGED ME FOR THE TOW. Fast forward a few months and the "new" battery he put in my truck is suddenly worthless, the starter is slipping ALOT, and other mechanics I have talked to think the rebuilt alternator is the reason I've been through two batteries in less than a year. For your money, this shop isn't worth it, not if you have to pay for all the repairs again in less than a year's time. This has been more than a bad experience for me, I am not made of money, yet this truck now has so many problems since I let this guy fix it. Never again.
