I love this restaurant, I went to school at Lawrence University. Now that I've graduate the one restaurant I miss most is Taste of Thai and their delicious Massaman curry. A Thai friend said that their Massaman is not authentic which may explain why I haven't been able to find another thai restaurant that makes a Massaman similar to theirs. BUT it is by far the most delicious dish I have ever eaten.
My wife and I love this place. Her and I battle it out for the best Thai food place in the valley, however, one this is for sure - you do not leave this place hungry! Very good food, excellent portions, excellent service, reasonable price. I'm a little surprised that others criticized the spiciness of the food - you can order it as hot as you like! They offer a spiciness scale of 1 through 5 (their "star" system). I like it spicy, but a "4 star" is generally about all I can handle. If you like to live dangerously, they will make it as spicy as you like (above their "5 star"). That's one thing we like about the place - order as you like. I highly recommend the "Evil Jungle Prince" curry, and my wife likes the Massaman. Their motif leaves much to be desired, but the food, service, and "bang for buck" are unbeatable.
Limited menu. Dingy looking inside. No spice at all to food.
