User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI like this place. I believe it's tied for first with Solea/Menasha as the best Mexican restaurants in the area. El Azteca wins slightly because they have a very good queso blanco. :) Excellent food, great service, nice motif.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFor years now this is my favorite place to go for Mexican..outstanding service, great drinks and even better food..al at a great value!
You have to try their guacamole..always fresh..and their seafood enchiladas..
Also don't pass on that tasty little shot they now give you after the meal..
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved It Loved It!: I loved the way the waiters carry the plates and glasses as if they were sheets of paper! I absolutely fell in love with the way they treated my whole family. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. We can't wait to go back! Aside from the service, the food is GREAT! I am hispanic and the truth is, it's hard to find a "true" mexican restaurant around here, but we found one! Believe me, you will like this place, the food, and their margaritas!

Have to disagree. I lived in California for 30+ years and when I went to El Azteca I couldn't eat it. The food was flavorless, the salsa was like ketchup and none of it was authentic. It lacked the true Mexican spice that I was used to, and if I'm offered one more ground beef taco in Appleton I will give it up completely. Happy to say that El Jaripeo in Little Chute is truly the best Mexican food I've had since moving to Wisconsin. Reasonable price; excellent flavors.
