User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsreal good food, but much more american food than good japanese food. this is where i'd go for a good meal, but if you are looking for good japanese food, this isn't the place.

I recently moved here from the east coast. Katsu Ya is nothing like what real Japanese should be. I was very turned off by the taste of the food and the fact that I had to pay extra for fried rice that did not taste great. I will never return to this restaurant.

both the sushi and hibachi are awesome. I really like the swordfish hibachi.
