I have been taking my vehicles to AFS for regular maitenance as well as repairs since I owned my very first car. I don't consider myself a girly girl who drives around with her oil light on, but I don't know a whole lot about cars, and I don't always notice when the brakes need work, etc. The complete free inspection they do during a routine oil change keeps me on top of tire rotation, alignment, brakes, battery, etc. Even better, they give me a complete summary of any problems with the car and quote me a price BEFORE they start any work, which they ask me to authorize. My husband also now takes all of his company vehicles to AFS although some of the work is under warranty with Bergstrom--he took the same car (2010 impala) to Bergstrom twice for an alignment which was rather unsuccessful, but my car (also a 2010 impala) was perfect after one alignment at AFS. Big name or chain companies push through as many cars as possible as quickly as they can, but AFS takes time to ensure you're getting QUALITY work. I would also like to add that my last bill for work done at AFS came in UNDER the quoted price. Because of AFS's above and beyond service, my car stays safe and in pristine condition.
