User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsJolly Rogers has excellent pizza, pastas dishes and sandwiches. I have never had a "bad" meal there.
Jolly Rogers offers an extensive line of beers, micro-beers and imports. They have a "rotating" tap so the selection is always good and ther is always a new beer to try. The owners are very hands on and "fun"....although "Bob" can get a "little over the top". LOL! Sorry Bob! Overall service is very good.
I agree with another poster that the dining area is a little cramped. The noise in the bar area gets a little much at times as many children like to ride "Lucky" the mechanical horse! Come to New London and check it out....you wont regret it!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFreshly made pizza with great Wisconsin cheese: My friends and I go to Jolly Rogers for pizza often and we love it. Their pizza is some of the best around. They've really perfected their recipes. They have a large menu with lots of choices for pizza toppings, and if you aren't a pizza fan there are plenty of other options. The only negatives with this place are that the space is somewhat small, so the tables are packed together pretty tightly and it can get noisy. Also the bathrooms are directly attached to the dining room, so if you are unlucky you will end up sitting next to a bathroom door. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place for great food and drinks. Last time I checked they didn't take credit cards, and you should call ahead for hours and days of operation -- they also stop serving certain menu items at certain times. Mmmm... now I'm hungry!
