User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSadly, I can't say that many people have tried authentic, great mexican food if this the top pick for restaurants. I completely understand that Red Wing does not have a lot of options, but my experience was terrible.
I had a great appetizer - Mexican Pizza
I ordered Chimichangas - the chicken was bland and flavorless
The rice and beans did not have much flavor also.
I told the manager and my waiter and he offered 20% off because he wanted to cover the cost of the food.
I literally ate 2 bites of my meal and pushed the rest away.
The manager walked away and said that was all he could do and when I asked if we could talk he said he'd call the police AND DID!!
I was happy with the appetizer and my husband was evening willing to pay for his meal which was fair at best.
Other than that, I've visited Red Wing before and the other places are great, but I wish people could try a great restaurant like Don Quijotes-Minneapolis or La Perla-Milwaukee,WI
Chi Chi's was even better!

I have lived in Red Wing for 13 years and have eaten at feista Mexicana at least 150 times. If someone had a problem with the food it is a rarity, this is the best Mexican in the US. Try any of the special sauce dishes or any of the traditional Mex dishes, You will never be dissapointed, Chi Chis id Taco Bell comared to Feista Mexicana.
