| About: | Considered by many to be the best sushi house in the Twin Cities, the restaurant includes a small saki bar and fairly large sushi bar. Although the Sakura serves tempura, teriyaki, donburi and many Japanese noodle dishes, most people come for the reasonably priced and exotic sushi. If you are a novice, the waiting staff will guide you towards the selections that agree with your taste.Try tempura battered shrimp and fresh water eel rolled with spinach in a flaky shell. The grilled tuna or salmon served with a steamed vegetable medley and topped with soy and sesame sauce is an inviting entree. Besides saki, beer, wine and cocktails are available. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been going to Sukura for more than 15 years, and have watched them grow. 2 Things have never changed the food is the best in town and the staff are the best, friendly and the owner is on the floor every day almost. I have had over 200 meals here and never once had a bad dish. I will continue to eat there whenever I get the chance, as will the Wild players and just about every star that performs at the excel center. Sakura keep on Doing your thing:)

This restaurant is a classic. I got my first taste of Japanese cuisine here at the tender age of 12 and have been going back ever since. The atmosphere is excellent, the servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is authentically delicious. Honestly, it isn't the best Japanese food (specifically the sushi) I've ever had but it is for sure a place any Japanese food lover should check out

I recently started eating sushi and Sakura is the best I've had. The staff is very friendly and the service was great. Their Caterpiller Rolls are to die for! I highly recommend trying this out if you love sushi.
