In therapy I teach couples new ways to negotiate with each other. Then they can stop getting stuck in the same patterns. Instead of making “you” statements like “You have a problem with money,” couples learn to use “we” statements like “We have a problem with money” or “What can we do differently?” And you’ll be able to work together as a team to seek solutions that help the relationship, not getting domination over your partner.  2. Relationship counseling: Are you too afraid of rejection or embarrassment to act? When you get in relationships, do they lack fulfillment? An inner voice may insist, “I an unattractive” or “I dare not reach out.” Therapy can help you learn why issues keep repeating and to lose the assumptions “nobody likes me,” or “all men are narcissists.” 3.
