| About: | The only thing Irish here is the name and the big, green shamrock sign out front, but people from miles around head to Durkin's for two things: beer and appetizers. The onion rings are piled high in an overflowing basket. The nacho platter is a meal in itself. The biggest draw is the chicken wings. A heaping pile of drummies can be ordered hot, hotter or volcanic. Be sure to have a cool beverage standing by. Durkin's features a number of local microbrews along with an excellent selection of domestic and imported beers. The menu also has sandwiches, soups and burgers. Wine, cocktails and soft drinks are also served. |

It's ok - not that great of an atmosphere for older crowd-40s plus
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsLUNCH CROWD: Durkin's has an awesome lunch bunch. Sandwich specials are hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Service - flip a coin - depends upon the wait staff and crowd. MOST days are fast and friendly. I keep going back for more. Caution: sometimes understaffed with a long wait.

BEST BAR IN ANOKA- GREAT MUSIC: My friends and i went to durkins last weekend and had a blast. We had no idea you could dance. The DJ ROCKED!! WAY better than fattso's. Good food Cute girls I am going back soon!!
