I probably should not write this review, since we always have to wait a short time to be seated, but I feel obligated to do so.
A co-worker tipped me off to this place about 5 years ago. My family (2 kids 5 and 7) and I have been going to the Lone Spur once a month ever since we were lucky enough to find the place!!!
My kids always get the chicken quesadillas!!! If you can keep the kids happy, that's half the battle in eating out with a family. But the best part about the place is the friendly staff. Very nice and accomodating. We have NEVER had a bad experience....in fact, we are going tonight(Friday, 10-30), maybe we'll see you there.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been going to the Lone Spur for years, I have never had a bad experience there. The bartenders remember who you are and what you drink, they go out of their way to make sure we always get whatever we need. While the food is fresh and always very good it's the service that keeps us coming back. It's hard to find good customer service these days, I think the Lone Spur is one of the few remaining restaurants where it is still a priority.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsgreat place for hot wings, but get them to go. Wait staff in bar is rude and inattentive. management was not responsive to complaints about slow service and cold food (only cold because wait staff let it sit in the kitchen too long) always felt like an we were inconveniencing our waiter/bartender-they seemed too busy socializing. our suggestion-call ahead and pick up your order-don't bother dining in so you don't have to deal with the rude staff
