User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI just moved into a Moriarty Apartment about 2 months ago. It has so much storage and living space. My wife and I really enjoy the large bedrooms. Rent is really reasonable as well.

Moriarty Rentals is an excellent company to rent from. They are very prompt in fixing maintenence issues, it is almost always the same day. The office staff is very nice when you come in to pay your rent. Their apartments are so nice and they take very good care of them. Snow removal and lawn care is always done well so the appearance of the buildings are nice. I would strongly suggest if you are looking for an apartment in the Brookings area to talk to Moriarty Rentals.

The apartment itself was not too terrible, but the company managing it was. My roommate without my permission allowed her brother to move in. I tried multiple times to get both her and the Moriarty company to remove him from the apartment. His own sister said that he was a 'druggie' and couldn't hold a job to save his life. I tried to get them to take care of it for 3 months before I moved out and filled out the appropriate paperwork. I even so much as paid for the next month's rent in full (my roommate never bothered to pay me one cent for that month) even though I was not going to be living there. The next month I received a call saying that "Even though I had moved out my roommate had not paid the full amount of the rent", and that they expected me to pay what was left including the late fees. All in all the company itself is lazy and took extended periods of time to fix anything or take any initiative.
