User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsEveryone tells me the steak is to die for. I must have just ordered the wrong thing. I had the stuffed shrimp and i almost puked. Seafood is definitly not their forte. Too expensive and stuffy. Service was great though

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest Steaks in the world!: Oh, My God! Have you ever had a steak melt in you mouth?! Their filet will do just that! The food and the old style high end steak house of the 60's and 70's will keep you coming back, despite the slowness of the waiters. However, you shouldn't rush a great meal anyway! Sit back-Relax-and Enjoy!

Thank you for this review....I am new in town and have seen the building for the Black Steer and was curious. I always love a good steakhouse, but it's one of those old places that you can't tell much by looking at it! I didn't want to risk going in and spending money on a bad meal. Based on your review I think I'll be making a trip there sometime soon. Thanks again.
