User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHow can you not love this place! The service is fast and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the food is authentic and delicious. Whether we dine in or carry out, we are pleased 99.9% of the time (hey, nobody's perfect). If you are looking for low-grade mexican fast food, look elsewhere. If you are looking for fresh authentic Mexican food, check this place out.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWhen in Brookings: Wheneve we visit Brookings, we enjoy eating at Guadalajara's. South Dakota does not have an overabundance of good Mexican restaurants, but this is one.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAmazing Place to Eat!!!!: Being raised in California, I was used to the way that the Mexican families cooked that lived around me. Upon moving to South Dakota, I feared that the only way I was to get Mexican of that quality was to cook for myself, having learned several recipes over the years. We decided to give this restaraunt a try, and was I surprised!! Own by a family from Guadalajara, Mexico, I found that the food was more than what I expected. The food is delicious, the ambiance is quaint, and the service is fantastic. I speak a little spanish, and though it is not great, when I do use what I know, the waitstaff is kind and enjoys hearing someone is this state speak their native tongue. I highly recommend this restaraunt. It is wonderful!!! And if you are ever in the area, this is a must!!
