User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI recently moved in to Valley City from Nome, and am getting to know more of the businesses as a regular. I became more acquainted with Kelly and Laurie through friends Myron and Lois Trangsrud. Both Kelly and Laurie have become friends as well, and run the restaurant with a five star menu. The menu items are overwhelming in number and definitely taste great. You can expect a smile and great service from Laurie, and great cooking from Kelly.
Whether it is a Berger with fries, any breakfast you might like, a luncheon buffet, or a great dinner you will find it on the Spokes menu. I fell in love with the Philly sandwiches, and usually order one without the fries since the Philly is all I can eat. All the menu items have generous portions, and good value. The Spoke exceeds expectations in atmosphere and food. I highly recommend a visit to the Broken Spoke on any visit to Valley City.
