User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsRecently, no matter who we get for a server, they are constantly racing around. I suspect they may have too many tables or something but they are always rushing and robotic. Seriously saying things like "enjoy your food" as they are already walking away from us. The food is alright which is why I go there from time to time, but the servers always seem to have too much to do. Not rude, just rushed.

I ate there last week for the first time in 14 years and it was as bad as it was 14 years ago. My wife is Hispanic and ate there once (14 years ago) and will never eat there again. People that like their food probably never ate authentic Mexican food or if they did don't like authentic Mexican food. My other theory about positive reviews is that Mexican Village workers or owners are writing the reviews. Bottom line if you like good Mexican food stay away from Mexican Village.

To clearify a previous review, Mexican Village does not serve mashed potatoes or anything resembling it. If these people thought it was mashed potato, I would question their opinion and expertise on Mexican food! I have dined at Mexican Village for years and have always received great food and service.
