I went to Stella's on a Friday morning at 8am, and the place was packed! I bought their huge one pound cinnamon roll. The server heated it up for me and it was awesome. I also got the peaches 'n creme pasty which is also very tasty. As for the meal, I got the Fiery South of the Border omelet. For the price you pay, you'll get HUGE portions of everything. The only complaint I have about Stella's is the service. The server was working very hard, but it took 40min. to get the meal. We were just about to leave when she brought it out. Other than that, I would definitely go to Stella's again, just at an odd time of day.
Good old fashioned food: If you're looking for home cookin, friendly service, and no frills-Stella's is it. Good old fashioned diner. Prompt friendly service. Well priced. Good food. Nothin fancy, except their baked goods, which are to die for. I had breakfast and lunch at Stella's and enjoyed both.
Stella's is genuine down home goodness: I'm a Southern boy stuck way up here in Montana, but I have found a little taste of home at Stella's. The service is fantastic, the food is down home yummie, the portions are HUGE, and the price is fair. It just doesn't get any better than Stellas on a Sunday morning before church. Watch out for the mamoth pancakes, though, at about 8 inches from side to side, they're enough to satisfy even the hungriest mountain man and even a good ol southern boy like me!
