I have been to Red Lodge many times, and this past time was the first time I'd seen the sign for Cafe Regis. I thought, "Fnally, a new breakfast place to try!" Not so much. The outside is very old and rundown looking, but the inside was nicely decorated and clean. There were about ten tables. When we got there everybody just stared at us. We guessed that we had to find our own table. We sat down, and when the waitress came, she just kept on talking to some other people never looking at us once until she finished. She didn't know the specials, had to read them off the sign that was right next to our table. So I ordered the breakfast burrito made with an one egg white, black beans, potatoes, cheese, and salsa. It was a decent size, but did not taste great. It had no flavor whatsoever, and they forgot to put the egg white in it! There were way too many black beans (I had to scope out spoonfuls), and the potatoes were not even hot. The salsa was not spicy, but I put it on the burrito to give it at least some taste. For $7, I would not order it again. They also didn't have skim milk. We had another waitress, but she hardly came to our table. I had to get up and ask her to refil our drinks. Overall, I would definitely not go back to Regis Cafe for breakfast. Its too expensive, doesn't taste good, and service is poor.

Had one of the better breakfasts I've eaten in Red Lodge there, but menu is a little on the different side. Don't remember what was on there now, but just off of my tradtional breakfast tastes. May have changed now, that was 3 years ago when we ate there, but is was good and a neat atmosphere-like eating in a mom and pop grocery store.

If you like bland unseasoned food this is the place for you. I do applaud all the heathly food they sell to take home. This is the only place in 70 miles that has anything healthy.

Have you ever thought of putting a little red pepper on your food or pepper. Most seasons that bring alot of taste also have a lot of salt.
