When I first went to this bank I decided to open an account because it was far closer to my house than any of the other banks. As time went on I had a very small problems here and there, but nothing too bad. These small problems became bigger and more frequent. There is some kind of book of secret rules and fines that they expect you to abide by. Too bad they wait until after you break these rules to tell you they are there and unveil the hefty punishment. Not something I expected from a "local" bank. The final offense was an unreasonable 1200% interest rate I ended up having to pay. Here's what happened. I didn't know how much money was in my account so I withdrew $40 ( I was emptying my account because I was upset and wanted to go to another bank). Apparently I only had $35 in my checking account. I didn't know the ATM would take out $40, leaving a negative balance of -$5. I looked at my receipt and saw a balance of -$5, and thought I would depesite $20 the next day to make up for it. The next day I did so, and a week later I was cashing a check when I was told I couldn't do that because my account had a negative balance. I told the lady I deposited $20 the week before so it should be positive. Apperently the negative balance had a HUGE interest rate on it that I was never told about and that $20 didn't cover the over night interest of 500%. So the account had some mysterious interest taken on it I was never informed of and within a week of having thought of paid it off, I had accumulated $60 of debt to the bank. It would have been nice if at any point they would have told me what was happening, but they kept it in the dark until I specifically asked. I am very dissatisfied with this bank and any doubt I had before of whether of not to close the account was gone. This has been by far the most dishonest bank I have ever used.

This bank has been incredible! They are always polite and patient. I highly recommend this bank to everyone who is in the valley!
