My boyfriend and I went to The Bay on a friday night to meet up with another couple, and it was crowded when we arrived. The decor inside is very nice, a little tropical with a stream and plants though the center of the restaurant, the lights were dim to make it romantic and cozy, and the atmosphere just seemed right for the evening. I ordered the pot roast, which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. The amount of pot roast they gave me was huge! I ended up eating it for 3 meals as leftovers there was so much. Some parts of it were fatty, but for the most part it was flavorful, moist, and pulled apart easily. The mashed potatoes were on the salty side, but I think that was due to the brown gravy. The veggies had butter and oil all over them so I didn't care for those too much. Steamed would have been much better. The rolls they served were hot and tasty, as well as the clam chowder soup I had before the meal. Service was very good. My dish cost $13, and most dishes ranged from $10-25. Overall I would probably go back, but only if I plan on entertaining or feel like spending that much money.
Oh my gosh! The best...: Oh my gosh! The best place to eat in Bozeman! Try the Halibut fish and chip, the best!! I love it!!!
One of my favorites in the area. Great French Onion soup and great service, always. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.
