I just had an on location wedding with Soucie Soucie and I had just the opposite experience as the last lady.
The hairdresser that I worked with was very punctiual and she did exactly what I was looking for. She was very professional and caring and I would highly reccomend this salon to everyone.
I believe their on location wedding price was very reasonable and she helped make my wedding day the best day of my life!!!

I used these people for my wedding. The girls showed up one hour late because the manager gave them the wrong hotel for the ceremony. I was marrying a man with 3 daughters from a previous marriage. I had to decide who would get their hair done and who wouldn't, which hurt my future step-daughters feelings. It was horrible to be in that position. My step-daughters each did their own hair and make-up. When the hair dressers finally showed up and myself and my 6-year old were done, the girls got their hair and make-up touched up. I was still charged the entire fee, even though the girls did most of the work on their own. The hair dressers were so late that I had to rush out of there as soon as my hair and make-up was done because I was late for my own photos. I didn't realize, until after the ceremony and photos, that my blush was ultra-dark, even though I asked for a light natural look. Now, I hate most of my photos from my own wedding because I look like a hooker. The photographer was very expensive, so that was very disappointing.

At first, the manager offered a discount of $100. Then, she tried to get out of the agreed upon price in our contract and raise the fee by $100. In the end, there was no discount. I guess it's okay in her mind if her workers show up an hour late and have us (my step-daughters) do most of the work, as long as she gets paid. I couldn't even talk to her on the phone I was so pissed-off. In the end, my husband and I just paid the fee so we didn't have to deal with her or her bs anymore.

Bottom line - it's a bad idea to use these people for your location wedding, it's a horrible, horrible experience all of the way around. When they are late, they throw off the entire timeline for the photos, ceremony, all of it. Then, everyone, especially, the bride and groom are stressed and don't get to enjoy all of the things they took so long to plan. Plus, when they do mess things up they take absolutely no responsibility and do not even pretend to try to make reparations.

I will admit that the gals here do a good job on hair, but I hate the attitude of the salon. All the women have this bitchy "better than you" attitude if you're not one of the regulars, and they are WAY overpriced!!! Not to mention that all their great hairstylists have left soucies and started EDGE Salon. I would highly reccomend going there instead. Nicer people, just as talented, and a better price!
