The food is great! The service is lousy. The same rude, slow and snotty waitstaff has been there forever. If they fired them all and hired some good staff this place whould be awesome!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It has a bohemian-type atmosphere and healthy, delicious food! My favorite is the curry dish. The colors and decor is very artsy and creative, AND there is art on the walls to look at while you eat! I have never had a bad experience here, and everything on the menu is excellent! If you have a friend with you that doesn't like the "hippie" type food (it's NOT), they also have an excellent buffalo burger with fries. Breakfast is great, too.

This is the last time I will go to the Knead. I have almost always gotten poor and slow service, but this past Sunday was the WORST! It took several minutes for anyone (including the hostess) to acknowledge our presence when we first walked in, though one of the staff did take the party of two behind us to a table before even speaking to us!! It took 10 minutes for anyone to even ask us for coffee or to give us menus. Our sulky waitress finally took our drink orders and when I asked for extra cream for my coffee, she said there was a limit and she may not be able to accomodate my request! When we did get the coffee (after another 10 minutes), the waitress brought it to us in dirty cups!! One of my companions pointed this out to her and she said 'oh the cup is just stained' and proceeded to argue with him about it, then she huffed off to replace his coffee after he showed her that he could SCRAPE THE 'STAIN' OFF WITH HIS FINGERNAIL. Ridiculous! There were floaties in all of our water glasses and all of the coffee cups were pretty gunky. Once the food came, it was pretty good, but who knows what kind of sanitary conditions we're dealing with here considering. The rudeness of the waitress was the final straw, and arguing with a customer was truly over the line. As I said before, this was the last time I'll be dining at the knead, we should have walked out.
