User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI have been to 3 other dermatologists in the West Suburbs before finding Dr. Fretzin. Dr. Fretzin has been far and away the best. I've been going to him for the last 3 years. he takes the time to answer any questions and I've been to him for a variety of ailments. It takes about a month to get an appt. if you're a new patient, but once you've been there the first time you can usually get in pretty easily and quickly They office staff is very friendly and helpful.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat despite bad reviews: My mom warned me that he was not a "warm" person. I found him to be very friendly and eager to help me. After a much worse experience with Dr. Michael Greenberg (Elk Grove Village, IL), Dr. Fretzin was a God-send! After one visit I saw major results. After 2 visits total, I am done seeing him on a consistent basis. Very limited hours keeps this review from being a 5-star.

I too had been to Greenberg before and was not pleased with him. I have also switched to Fritzen per request of my father and find him to be an effective and friendly doctor.

Agreed! Dr Fretzin and the nurses are great! It is just the front desk staff at the Buffalo Grove office is just plain rude. I decided to go to his Arlington Heights office even though he is only there on Mondays for my next appointment. Their phone matters is better - so let's see...
