For anyone thinking of coming here to live, stay away, your life will be better else where.I have been her for a few months now and regret every minute of it. Lets start with the outside,,Mowing?? I think they come once a month it seems, benifit of doubt,2 times,,Plowing??these guys come days after a snow when cars have been driving over it so much that when they do finally come nothing NEEDS to be plowed, plus they drive threw here like they at the races, cant plow much at those speeds,,i and other residents shovel our parking spots so we dont step out of our cars on ice,we also shovel the side walks going to building. I'm not gunna lie, they do come and shovel and salt, but to late to be safe.Lets move to the inside,,hall lights dont work, tell landlord,he will fix them,,that was 2 months ago and several reminders,,water presure is so low and turned down for hot,in the kitchen, takes for ever to get hot water to do dishes, and and to take ashower in the bathroom. The heating elemant on the electric stove doesnt work on 2 of them makes it hard to cook, said he would replace these and still hasnt, the stove is so old would think he would replace the stove itself. I could go on but i hope you see, dont come to Country Glen in Arlington Heights. Not worth it. As soon as my lease is up, i'm gone.
The management and or the owners don't give a dam about their tennants. The apartment s are horribly maintained. Roachs, mice, buildings smell. Make no mistake about it, you get what you pay for. This place is no bargin.
The State Police are always present in the parking lots. What do you suppose that they are looking for?
You would be better off living in a carton under Grand ave.
I visited the facilites of Country Glen with high hopes and dashed dreams. The splendor of dilapidation awaits all who may wish to visit. Upon my arrival there were gang signs scralled broadley across a large peppled encrested concrete wall. I was told that this appeared last night and that authorities had been notified (through the weather conditions of the previous night were below zero -and areosal paint cans do not perform well in freezing temperatures). I also noticed that there was quite a bit of garbage on the property. After entering the unsecured building, we entered the apartment. I am not looking for a palace with vast amenities, but a place with comfort and security. The condition of the apartment leads one to think that the "landlord" would be unresponsive to ones needs. After leaving this dank dwelling, we ventured into the laundry facilities. This is not a clean area in general. And I sensed no sense of security. If you are a family person, and value their safety, Keep looking.
