We have been going here to pick apples for the past 7 years and the place is great. Our kids love it along with my wife and I. The only drawback is the dinning room they have there--the food quality is not that good--so pack a nice lunch and enjoy the grounds.
We visited Royal Oak Farm this fall. They have wonderful older apple trees that have branches low enough for a toddler to reach. My daughter learned how to properly pick and apple, spinning it off the tree and not hurting the branch. She is 3 and so proud that she helped pick apples for our a pie.
Speaking of pie... stop off at the bakery or the restaurant and try the pie. We bought a Lake Shore Berry Crumb pie. It is honestly one of the best pies I have had since I was little.
You won't regret visiting this Apple Farm. The drive to the farm is lovely in itself. And the grounds are expansive. You get to ride out to pick apples on a hay loaded tractor trailer and when you return, the kids can play in the play area, or even pet some farm animals.
We had a lovely time. I highly recommend visiting before the season is over in Nov.
