Opened in 2002 by Michael Coli and his son Brian, Georgio's brings the taste and feel of Chicago to the suburbs with its incredible tasting Chicago style deep dish pizza and an atmosphere reminiscent of historic downtown Chicago. Voted the "Best Pizza in McHenry County" by readers of the Northwest Herald, Georgio's uses only the freshest and finest ingredients in its recipes-including its signature deep dish pie, whose recipe has been kept "secret" for more than 60 years! Today the restaurant is constantly a-buzz, attracting celebrities like Mario Lopez, Steve Stone , Sister Hazel, Stroke 9, Ray Meyer, Steve McMichael, among others, and offering the perfect spot to enjoy a family meal, a friends' night out, or to watch the game on big screen plasma televisions placed throughout the bar and dining areas. In February of 2004, after increasing demand, Georgio's opened its second location in Algonquin offering carry-out and delivery service to Algonquin and Lake in the Hills residents. |

Best pizza around by far-Lou's not even close to Georgios quality.
Family run too which means attention to detail and it shows. -

The service at this place is awful. I had a manager too! She was so snobby. The food was ok but I wouldn't go back.

Rosatis doesn't even use real cheese you idiot and the cl manager is a scum bag. Georgios is too high class for you. Your probably a sox fan too which would explain it.
