User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI recently had the chance to go to this restaurant. Numerous friends in the Fox Lake area recommended it to me. When I arrived, a very friendly and polite hostess greeted me and I was able to pick the table of my choice. The dining area has beautiful views of the lake, which can be seen from any table. There is also a huge outdoor patio with plenty of seating as well.
After being seated, a bus boy approached immediately with complimentary chips and salsa and fresh glasses of water. The staff really knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.
I ordered carne asada and my wife had chicken fajitas. Both items were delicious and the portions were large. We also had the award winning margaritas. I can see why they won awards, the margaritas were the best I have ever had!-

Disgusting. this place had more flys buzzing the tables inside than and outhouse.
The service was terrible. 2 1/2 hours to get our food after an hour wait sitting at our table outside to order. It took so long long we eventually had to go into the fly filled dining room. Food was awful in fact I decided not to eat because of all the flys. Calling the health dept.
