Williams, Janine DVM - Camp Mc Donald Animal Clinic

We are desperately seeking Dr. Williams as well. She is the ideal doctor for your pet, can't say enough about her skills, her bedside manner, and her treatment of both pet and famiily! If I finally track her down, I will be sure to post here, and please do the same if you find her first!

Camp Mc had been my pets vet for over 40 years, but no longer. When a new management comes and removes all employees but one office personnel it will send red flags. But even that didn't cause the change of vet. The experiences with the new doctors has been cold and clinical at best, and downright callous at worst (during a pet death) - nothing like the warmth from the Williams/Osborne crew. We miss you old CampMc staff. Thanks for 40 wonderful years.

I am a bit distressed by the reviews written here about Camp McDonald Animal Hospital.

While I am certain that Dr. Williams is an exceptional veterinarian, I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Petereit and the "new management" are. I have, what would be defined as, a slightly "naughty" 70 pound dog, who seems, as she is getting older, to be developing some new and unusual health issues from skin allergies to the possibility of Cushing’s Disease. My dog is like my child and needless to say the prospect of an impending life altering illness is very daunting. Dr. Pappas took the time to review a multitude of past medical records for my dog to ensure that the treatment needed was the most effective for her. She also spent close to 20 minutes on a follow up wellness call explaining what symptoms to look for and what different treatment plans are available, just in case, my dog develops the disease in the future. I actually removed my dog from her previous animal hospital specifically to bring her to Camp McDonald after we received such wonderful care at the Skokie Animal911, which is also owned and operated by Dr. Petereit. Dr. Peteriet, Dr. Pappas and Dr. Kurowski are thorough, caring and patient and have my complete trust that my dog will get the loving treatment she needs.

I understand that after receiving excellent care in the past from a great doctor would make anyone pause before trying someone new, I certainly hope that not only new clients but past clients are willing to give Camp McDonald a chance and see for themselves what wonderful care the doctors and staff there provide.

I just called the animal clinic today to get an appt in for my dogs and i was told that Dr. Williams is no longer practicing there. Does anyone know where she is practicing? I would only trust her or Dr. Osborne or Dr. Rodgers! I am very sad to hear of this and I no longer want to bring my animals there for I have heard many complaints about new staff!
