User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been eating pizza and bombers here since I was a little kid living on McAree Road in the 1960's. It is our families favorite and we never return to Waukegan without a stop or two. I just returned home to Wa State from there and we ate Quonset three times in two days and brought bombers home too!. Just call ahead and they will package everything seperate for you. The sauce will have to go with check on luggage but its safer there anyway!
The best thing about Quonset is it doesn't change! It's always the same great taste year after year!-

From 1969 to 2002 it was always the best, pizza and sausage bombers and I'm sure it still is.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a favorite for residents and for my relatives that have moved away. I have an Aunt that moved to Harrisburg, PA, this is the first and the last place they want to go when they visit. They've even had another relative dry-ice ship it to their home. I myself, have moved to the western suburbs and miss this place so much. Thin real yeast crust, yummy sauce, the sausage is good sized pieces and delicious! Ask any original Waukegan citizen and they will tell you, Quonset Pizza is absolutely the best pizza around! I only wish they'd franchise out in western Lake County!

I was also in town for a week and ate there four times that week. Still the best bombers and pizza, and they've added Italian beef, meatballs, and salads. All great!
