Went with a girlfriend and thought the food was overpriced. Pizza, not all that and nothing I would go back for. Loud and noisy, not a place to bring the family especially if you have children. Should be listed more as A BAR, than a restaurant. Appears locals frequent so seemed rather clickish, bartender appears more interested in her locals than the customers that don't know her. No, don't think I'd go back or recommend this place.
Absolutely, the BEST PIZZA.
I have friends who moved to Lincolnshire, and I have to bring Village Inn Pizza when I visit them or else don't bother going to visit.
Thin crust or Thick, with Sausage is the best.
Great pizza, cold beer, waaaay too smokey. You can't go there without smelling like a cigarette. The question is when they move to no-smoking after the New Year, will they do anything to fumigate the place. There are years worth of smoke embedded in the place, and nothing short of ripping stuff out of there and replacing it with new is going to keep people from smelling like smoke for the next 5 years, even with the no-smoking policy. That's the drawback (oh, and when it gets hopping in there, which is does frequently, the bathrooms are a definite problem). But back to the good. The pizza is great, try the special, I actually think that at Village the worst pizza is the "least good" pizza (because it's not bad,) is the basic cheese. It seems to get better as they add topings. Quick service. Even if you are just stopping in, you can order on the spot and expect to have only about a 10 minute wait. Or you can grab a slice to go. Large variety of beer, a great place to socialize, its always hopping. The waitresses do a real good job of staying on top of things. The owner mills about, stopping to say hello, making you feel appreciated for coming in. For those who enjoy sports, they have numerous televisions showing different games. Really a fun place to go.....only about 2 weeks to no-smoking. Thank God!!!
