A wonderful restaurant as is the one in Schaumburg. The Prime is fabulous! Great service, good drinks and beautiful desserts. I've been there many, many times and will continue to patronize this fine place.
We went to Wildfire last Sat, March 14, 2009, and did not enjoy the food. The ambience was fine and since we have reservations, we were seated right away. The server rushed through her spiel in introducing the restaurant to us, it being our first visit. My cousin was not happy with her mushroom crusted pork chop and I was also not enamored with my prime rib which was served soupy and not to my specifications. The only serving grace was their coconut shrimp. We're sure not going to be repeat customers.
I will never return to the wildfire in lincolshire. This was my 2nd poor experiance here, and will only continue to go to the Schaumberg location. My first experiance was poor, but the manager called to apologize and sent me a gift card to come back. To my suprise, it was the same experiance. We were seated rigth away, but were not waited on for the first 20 minutes. The waiter came over, took our group of 4 drink orders(We were not carded either and we were all 21), but he did not write them down. 10 minutes later, he returns to ask one of my friends what he ordered to drink. He leaves, and another 10 minutes goes by, and he comes back with 2 right drinks, my drink was wrong, and completely forgot my other guests drink. ANOTHER 10 minutes goes by and he comes back with her drink, but never corrected mine. He then left and came back about 5 minutes later to take our orders. As he took our orders, he would completly turn around and talk to the other tables in the midst of us ordering. I asked the same question 3 times, and was completly ignored. He then asked my fiancee if he wanted a salad with his dinner, and my fiancee said yes. He didnt write it down, and walked away, and he never got a salad. I was not happy with the service here, nor will I never go back. The Schaumberg one has always been pleasant, but a further drive. I guess its worth it though!
